Here's some stuff I did today:



The first one is just some crazy stuff for warmup. The second one is a digital painting I may or may not finish. Looking at it now, she kind of looks like Mickey Mouse but I can't say I don't like that. The last if from a new webcomic I'm doing in tandem with Trying Human called, The Pinecone Wife.

Blah... I never feel like I've done enough.

And we're back to me not doing my work. AWESOME. I still have half a page left on the Webcomic Cookbook submission but it's going to have to wait until I get up. ;A; Here's a clown girl that dreams of leaving the circus to live a normal life. How very blessed sad for her.

Forgive it's sketchiness~

Just some quickie doodlies. The first is Dr. Girlfriend from one of my favorite animated series, The Venture Bros. I love series that have lots of well developed peripheral characters so yeah... I was totes all over that. The next is just a rough concept of Rose and Hue from part two of Trying Human. She's supposed to be pregnant but she just looks kind of chubby. The last is a new outfit for her that I think will be showing up in either chapter 11 or 12. It's based on an outfit I saw Alyssa Milano wear as she portrayed Amy Fisher in 'The Long Island Lolita Story'. I thought it was cool. :X

Anyway, today we're going to the beach and I'm taking the camera so we should have some photos. All I can think right now is, 'beachbeachbeach'. :B

PS - That skunk chased me again. He's dtm.

These are some doodles I did today. The three on the left are from a dream I had last night and the other is me in my maid uniform. The dream was really interesting... I was in some kind of a maroon room with my dad and my Uncle Mick. I got the feeling that the room was a waiting room for a child therapist's office. At some point I had a large coffee table sized book in my hands and I was supposed to show it to my father.

In the book, there were three digital paintings that I could remember fairly vividly. Two of them I've tried to recreate here. One was of a valley filled with really colorful sort of cartoony tulip shaped flowers. It was a panoramic image and as you turned your head the sun would either rise or set over this valley. It was like a little movie in the book. The other I remember fairly well was of this pond or river with trees hanging over the end. There were little waterfalls spouting from the trees but I couldn't see their origin, as well as a little deer about the size of a cat.

The man in the brown blazer was supposedly the author of the book and he had these weird goggles on that were used to see the drawings better. The strange thing about it all was that at some point I was watching the book be created, where he was actually painting in the book to make the images appear on the page. It was pretty far out.

It's been kind of a grey day today. Not really black or white or good or bad... Just kind of grey.

This is just a quick doodle I did today for warmup. I'm still not sure if I want Pigment to appear in the first or second half of 'Trying Human'. Luckily, she's a floating character and plot point so I can use her in either as I see fit.

I always imagined her as sort of a wild Grey (well, as wild as one can be any way) with really jerky, gymnast like movement.
